The Organised Labour has formally suspended its warning strike with effect from Sunday September 30 2018.
Labour called off the strike after it obtained an assurance that the tripartite meeting to negotiate the minimum wage will resume sitting.
The Organised Labour said it decided to suspend the warning strike after it received an invitation from the federal government to resume the tripartite committee meeting which was suspended abruptly.
It says it decision followed due consultation with relevant organs of labour.
The strike was called on the on the 26th of September at a time negotiations were ongoing
It remains to be seen if this final move by both parties will finally lay to rest the protracted issue of minimum wage in the country.
